Beaches

The Mediterranean island of Cyprus has some of the most beautiful award winning beaches in Europe. The combination of year round sunshine and warm seas makes Cyprus the perfect place to enjoy relaxing on one of it's many beaches.

Many of the beaches are made up of long stretches of golden sand with calm shallow waters. Areas such as Paphos are just a few minutes from the stunning beach at Coral Bay which is reached by a drive through the banana plantations and vineyards.

The Cyprus beaches are ideal for exploring the coves and wildlife and offer outstanding diving and snorkelling as well as a wide range of water-sports such as sailing, powerboats, Jetskis and paragliding.

Usually there are a small selection of restaurants located near to or overlooking the beaches that serve delicious fresh local seafood and snacks. These are one of the best places to experience the beautiful Cyprus sunsets whilst sipping a glass of wine.
